2013 Project Opportunity Graduating Class
Project Opportunity is a 10-week program that will offer training, outreach services, technical assistance and financing opportunities to veterans who are considering starting a business.
Project Opportunity was started three years ago by Joe Giordano, Executive Director of the Salisbury Area Chamber of Commerce Foundation, which received a $25,000 grant from the Walmart Foundation to expand the program beyond the Eastern Shore in response to inquiries from veterans statewide. Since its inception, more than 35 veterans on the Eastern Shore have taken advantage of the program.
